Moving ahead-with unhealed trauma.
Unhealed trauma and the sadness that’s buried in your heart can begin to show up when you are in the least thinking about it. We may not consciously think of it, however it is buried in our subconscious memories and these memories are so vivid that we begin to feel what we felt in the past going through that trauma. Ever come across a song that reminded you of someone? This can go two ways – you smile when the song begins to play to you or you are filled with an uncomfortable energy because the song holds unpleasant memories. Even though you moved on, have you really healed?
When you live with unhealed Trauma , your subconscious mind creates something known as Trauma identity by associating it with a familiar song, a unique scent, a person’s silhouette, sometimes even a place. You find yourself caught in a pattern of re-living the memory again and again every time you encounter trauma identity.
There is nothing to gain from focusing your energy on your past. It is draining and exhausting! Instead, begin healing.
When you become aware that you need to heal from trauma, your journey towards healing begins. You should know that you will overcome the part of you that is hurting and you will be okay.
Healing starts when you can integrate your emotions ,through expressing yourself and your feelings, understanding that what happened does not define you and instead is something that happened to you but it doesn’t belong to you and it is definitely not a part of your being.
Try writing how you feel, get it out of you. Through journaling and shadow work, you put things in perspective as your writing flows. You will begin to understand what exactly needs to be done to self-heal. Meditation is a great tool in your healing journey. It helps you build a certain mental immunity to thoughts and memories that no longer serve you. Communicate and find support with someone who is a professional, an energy healer, a trauma therapist. See what you are instinctively drawn to. This will help you in untying the knots, undo the connections that hold you back, heal from trauma and positively catapult you into becoming the vibrant energy you always were.
Don’t just move on from the Trauma, heal completely from it to live freely and live a healthy life, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
